Woody
Woody is one of the original success stories of our sanctuary and proof that a rough start does not determine the rest of your life. He arrived at just one day old alongside his brother Buzz, weighing less than four pounds and unable to stand or walk due to severe issues with his back legs. At the time, even standing unassisted seemed impossible.
With intensive care, physical therapy, and a whole lot of love, Woody slowly found his footing. Step by step, he grew stronger until the little goat who once couldn't stand became a healthy, active member of the herd. Today, you would never know he struggled so much as a baby.
Though fully grown, Woody remains one of our smallest adult goats at the sanctuary. What he lacks in size, however, he more than makes up for in personality. Curious, friendly, and always eager to meet new people, Woody is known for his expressive faces, model-worthy poses, and endless ability to make people smile.
Lovingly known as “The Most Interesting Goat in the World,” Woody is a reminder that resilience comes in all sizes—and sometimes the smallest goats leave the biggest impressions.
