Jebediah
Jebediah is quite the distinguished gentle-sheep and a longtime favorite among visitors and followers alike. He arrived at the sanctuary at just 18 days old after being abandoned by his mother because of issues with his legs shortly after birth. Thankfully, the farm he came from worked hard to help strengthen and straighten his legs during his first weeks of life before entrusting us to become his forever home.
Today, you would never know Jebediah once struggled to walk. Full of personality and charm, he quickly bonded with his best friend Levi, and the two became inseparable. As babies, it became a regular adventure for Jebediah and Levi to climb out of their pack-n-play and sprint down the hallway to join the humans in bed — something that still perfectly captures Jebediah’s affectionate and goofy spirit.
Now fully grown, Jebediah spends his days happily roaming the Big Pen with his flock mates. His story is a beautiful reminder that with patience, care, and compassion, even the smallest beginnings can lead to an incredible life.
