Hei Hei

Hei Hei is a rescue rooster whose larger-than-life personality has made him one of the biggest characters at Butterfly Valley Rescue & Sanctuary. Rescued after being abandoned at a local farm animal swap meet around Easter, Hei Hei was facing an uncertain future simply because he was a rooster. Instead of becoming another forgotten holiday novelty, he found a forever home where he would always be valued for exactly who he is.

Named after the lovable rooster from Moana, Hei Hei quickly proved he had plenty of opinions of his own. Bold, curious, and never one to miss an opportunity for attention, he has become a favorite among supporters for his dramatic antics and playful "takeovers" of the sanctuary's social media.
