Dolph
Dolph is one of three bonded Nigerian Dwarf goats who came here after their story nearly ended in heartbreak. The trio had spent their entire lives together, but after their previous caregiver faced incredibly difficult circumstances, they were surrendered to a farm in Tennessee. Because all three were battling anemia, Barber Pole worms, and Coccidia, their future became uncertain — and without rescue, they were at risk of being sent to the sale barn.
Thankfully, Dolph’s story changed. He arrived at the sanctuary still weak and in need of treatment, but safe, loved, and still with the goats he had always known. Through isolation, deworming, Coccidia treatment, anemia care, and lots of TLC, Dolph began to heal and show more of his personality each day.
Dolph is a reminder that second chances matter — especially for the quiet souls who almost slip through the cracks. His life could have ended very differently, but now he gets to grow stronger, stay with his family, and write a brand new ending.
