Charlotte

Charlotte is one of our sanctuary’s most beloved resident pigs and has been part of the family since long before Butterfly Valley ever became a sanctuary. As one of the very first pigs Nikki and Brandon ever welcomed, she has been there through nearly every chapter of the rescue's journey and is now the second-oldest pig in the herd.

Once the largest pig at the sanctuary, Charlotte has slimmed down a bit with age but remains a big personality. Known as the herd’s "second boss", she is incredibly affectionate, loves people, and is famous for her piggy smiles, sweet kisses, and special bond with Abi. Charlotte enjoys mud baths, pool time, summertime scratches, and spending time with her piggy friends. She may be gentle and loving, but don't leave your shoes unattended—Charlotte has a hilarious habit of trying to nibble them whenever she gets the chance.
