Caroline is a tiny visually impaired goat whose story began at Scapegoat Farms in Crofton, Kentucky. Born July 31, 2026 as one of triplets and weighing only about 1.6 pounds, she was small but determined from the start. She took to the bottle like a champ, but her caregivers quickly realized that she did not see the world the same way as her siblings. Indoors she frequently bumped into objects, while outdoors in brighter light she appeared to navigate more successfully, raising the possibility that she may have some light, shadow, or limited functional vision.

Has had significant vision problems since birth. She appears to navigate better in bright outdoor conditions and may be able to perceive light or shadows; the cause is not yet confirmed.
