Buttercup

Buttercup was rescued after surviving severe frostbite as a baby, she tragically lost her sibling and was left with life-changing injuries that caused her to lose part of one back leg, the tips of both ears, and damage to her remaining rear leg. Despite everything she’s endured, Buttercup approaches life with determination, sass, and an incredible will to keep moving forward.

She’s known for her adorable “handstand” style movement when her legs are sore, her sweet personality, and her ability to make everyone around her smile. Buttercup may look a little different, but around here different is beautiful — and she’s a perfect reminder that resilience comes in the tiniest packages.
