Bliss

Bliss is a one-of-a-kind mini pig with an even more one-of-a-kind story. Born at here at the sanctuary shortly after her mother Hannah was rescued from severe neglect, Bliss entered the world alongside eight siblings — but quickly stood out because of her unique extra toes, a condition called polydactyl disorder. Her unusual hooves require specialized farrier care to help keep her comfortable and mobile, but Bliss has never let being different slow her down.

While most of her siblings were adopted into loving homes across the country, the sanctuary made the intentional decision to keep Bliss so Hannah could experience something she had likely never known before — the chance to peacefully raise one of her babies in safety and love. Today, Bliss and Hannah still live side by side, sharing a bond that is incredibly special to witness.

Now officially the biggest pig at the sanctuary, Bliss has grown into a bold, curious, and adventure-loving girl who absolutely lives for sunshine, outdoor exploring, and giant muddy pig baths. She will soon celebrate her 5th birthday, marking five years of love, safety, and the beautiful life every animal deserves.
