Tater
Tater is a little goat with a story that almost ended before it truly began. Prior to his arrival here, multiple veterinarians believed euthanasia was his only option due to severe mobility issues affecting his back legs. But Tater had something stronger than the odds stacked against him — he had determination, stubbornness, and a whole team willing to fight for him.
Now, Tater has become one of the most recognizable residents at the sanctuary, zooming around in his tiny wheelchair and proving every single day that different does not mean less. Over the weeks since his rescue, he has grown stronger, more confident, and absolutely full of personality. He loves his wheelchair, loves attention, and has mastered the art of being adorably stubborn when he decides he wants things done his way.
Tater’s journey is a reminder of what love, patience, hope, and a refusal to give up can accomplish. Around here, he isn’t defined by his disability — he’s defined by his spirit.
