Tippy

Tippy was a beloved special-needs Nigerian Dwarf goat whose joyful spirit and unforgettable personality captured hearts around the world. He arrived at Butterfly Valley Rescue & Sanctuary at just five weeks old with congenital neurological differences, significant hearing loss, vision impairment, and strabismus. Despite his challenges, Tippy never let anything slow him down, embracing every day with boundless energy, curiosity, and an incredible love for life.

Known as the sanctuary's "class clown," Tippy had a way of making everyone smile. His oversized ears, playful antics, and larger-than-life personality made him an instant favorite wherever he went. He adored cuddles, Halloween adventures, meeting new people, and finding any excuse to turn an ordinary day into something extraordinary. Tippy taught thousands that being different isn't something to overcome—it's something to celebrate.

Although his time here was far too short, Tippy's impact continues to shape the heart of Butterfly Valley. His story reminds us that joy can be found in even the most unexpected places and that a life doesn't have to be long to change the world. Tippy will always be remembered as one of the brightest lights to ever call the sanctuary home.
