Buzz

Buzz was a beloved rescue goat whose joyful spirit and gentle heart left a lasting mark on everyone who met him. Rescued alongside his brother, Woody, at just one day old, Buzz arrived at Butterfly Valley Rescue & Sanctuary after a difficult start to life. Though tiny at only 4.3 pounds and dealing with mild balance issues, he quickly mastered the bottle, loved nothing more than cuddling beside his brother, and became famous for his dramatic "death naps" that regularly gave everyone a scare.

Buzz grew into a playful, affectionate little goat with an unmistakable zest for life. Whether he was exploring the house, showing off his goofy personality, or simply curled up next to Woody, he brought smiles wherever he went. His tiny heart-shaped marking near his eye seemed fitting for a goat who gave so much love in such a short time.

Although Buzz's life was far too brief, he reminded us to celebrate every day, every cuddle, and every small victory. His memory lives on through Woody and in the countless hearts he touched, proving that even the shortest lives can leave the biggest footprints.
