Meet Silverado
Silverado
Silverado came to us as a young goat with special needs, born with cerebellar hypoplasia, a neurological condition that affects his coordination and balance. Despite his challenges, Silverado's spirit shines brightly, making him one of the most determined and joyful goats we've ever met. His original family provided him with love and care but realized he needed more specialized long-term care than they could offer, leading them to reach out to us for help.
With the assistance of a dedicated team of volunteers, Silverado made the journey to our sanctuary in Louisville, KY. From the moment he arrived, we began exploring ways to help him lead a fulfilling life despite his mobility challenges. He now enjoys a range of supportive devices, including a baby play gym that keeps him entertained and helps him build strength and coordination. Silverado's joyful spirit is infectious, bringing a smile to everyone who meets him and proving that resilience and adaptability can overcome any obstacle.
