Meet Andy

Andy

Andy came to us at less than 24 hours old. He had been born with some congenital leg deformities that made his back legs shorter than they would normally be plus tendon contracture that made his back legs straight. These deformities made it difficult for Andy to walk right after birth. Not only did Andy have the congenital deformities, but he was also tiny weighing just 1lb 5oz, making him the smallest baby we've ever cared for. ​

Andy hasn't let his differences slow him down though. His determination quickly allowed him to get on his feet and get moving. We've already begun therapy to relax his tendons and try to correct some of the issues with his back legs. He is tiny but mighty and can deliver quite the headbutt.
